Privacy Policy

Effective: October 2, 2026

KitchenSpring is being developed as a set of business tools for independent food businesses. We believe businesses should be able to understand what information a service collects, why it is needed, and how it is handled.

Information KitchenSpring may process

Depending on the KitchenSpring tools a business chooses to use, information may include account and business profile information; product, recipe, ingredient and production information; sales and market records; supplier and purchasing information; invoices, receipts and accounting records; staff or device information used to operate the service; and technical information required to provide, secure and troubleshoot the service.

Why information is used

Information is used to provide the KitchenSpring functions selected by the customer, authenticate and manage access, save and synchronize business records, support and troubleshoot the service, maintain security, and improve the reliability of KitchenSpring. KitchenSpring does not intend to collect information that is unnecessary for these purposes.

Service providers and data processing

KitchenSpring uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the platform. The current platform uses Supabase for database and authentication services and Cloudflare for web delivery and related infrastructure. Other providers may be used for specific features or integrations. Information processed by service providers may be handled in jurisdictions outside the customer's province or country and may therefore be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Retention and deletion

KitchenSpring's retention and deletion procedures are still being finalized while the platform is in development. Before general customer access, KitchenSpring will publish clear procedures for account closure, data deletion, required retention periods, and any records that must be retained for legal or operational reasons.

Access and correction

Customers may request information about personal information held about them and may request correction where appropriate. A formal request process and privacy contact will be published before general customer access.

Cookies and local device storage

KitchenSpring applications may use browser storage, session information or similar technologies where needed for authentication, application state, offline operation, preferences or security. Any analytics or additional tracking introduced in the future will be disclosed here as applicable.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as KitchenSpring develops, new features are introduced, or legal and operational requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.

Development status: KitchenSpring is currently in active development and testing. This policy describes the platform at its current stage and will be expanded before general customer access.
